Sherman Daily Democrat Sunday, June 14, 1919 pg. 4 Death of Dennis Morton Hopper The death angel visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. D.M. Hopper Thursday afternoon, taking their little 3 months, 16 days old son, Dennis Morton, Jr. Dennis Morton, Jr. was sick 2 weeks. All that tender hands and medical skill could do was done, but Jesus seen best. Dennis Morton, Jr. was loved by all who came in contact with him. Funeral services were held at the home, 904 South Maxey, Friday afternoon at 4 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Pierce. The little body was laid to rest in West Hill Cemetery Sleep baby, sleep Sleep in Jesus' arms Where there's no pain, no mars, Huddle up to Jesus' breast, And wait for mother and the rest. Sleep baby, sleep. Funeral services for the 4 months' old son of Mr. and Mrs. D.M. Hopper, Dennis, Jr. were held yesterday afternoon. The name was erroneously spelled Hopson in yesterday's paper. CARD OF THANKS To the friends who ministered faithfully and tenderly to our dear little son who is gone, we wish to extend our sincere thanks and gratitude.
