 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas   Joe Beverley Scruggs was born March 15, 1959 iin Sherman, Texas. He served in the Vietnam War for 4 years as a soldier. Afterwards he began his life in Sherman, Texas as a welder, home improvement worker, fixing insides of houses, yard work and other duties to help his community. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Sheila Scruggsl daughter LaToya Coleman; mother, Mildred Wilson; sisters, Mallory Simmons, and Michelle Scruggs; brothers, Pat Scruggs, and "Peter Pop"; niece, Ashley Scruggs; and many loving nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Joe B. Scruggs, 61, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison with his wife and family present. Burial was private, family only, in the Veteran's Garden at West Hill Cemetery, Sherman, Texas. Arrangements were entrusted to James E.
