Sherman, Tex., Jan. 8 - Mrs. Jake Steadman, who lives three miles west of this city, while coming to town yesterday in a buggy, was stricken with a congestive chill and fell from the vehicle. She was taken to a nearby house and medical aid summoned from Sherman, but she died this morning.
