 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas   Sherman - Funeral services for Charles (Charlie) Maurice Blondy were held Tuesday afternoon, February 2, 2021 at Waldo Funeral Home. Rev. Garner Simpkins of Legacy Bible Church officiated. Burial followed at West Hill Cemetery. Mr. Blondy was called home to be with the Lord on January 27, 2021. Charlie was born November 21, 1935 in Paris, France, son of Raymond and Simone Blondy. He served in the French Army from 1956 to 1958. Charlie married Lavonne Green Ripley on October 16, 1965. He was a proud father of Lynn Blondy Davis and Karen Blondy Day. Charlie retired from Johnson & Johnson after a 36-years career. He was a member of Legacy Bible Church and enjoyed his men's praryer meetings. Charlie is survived by his wife; 2 daughters, Lynn Davis and husband, Phil; and Karen Day and husband, Joe; grandchildren: Jenny Phillips and husband, Matt; Kaitlyn Gillespie and husband, Cody; and Cody Day; great-grandchildren, Evelyn and Sean Phillips; and Ellie and Bruce Gillespie; and 2 sisters, Michele Caffin and Catherine Adrian.
