 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas  Sherman, Texas - Gwendlyn Yvonne Valentin of Sherman was born November 14, 1947, daughter of Paul and Irene Ward in Los Angeles, California. She passed away October 10, 2020. She worked as a secretary in medical billing in both California and Texas until she retired. Gwendlyn is survived by her 4 children: Mathew Gribble and wife, Sim Ngiraiwet, of Sherman; Brian Valentin of McKinney; Kathy Munoz of Sherman; and Crystal Jones and husband, Anthony, of Sherman. She had 13 grandchildren including Veronica Partridge; Daniel Munoz; Alexis Jones; Anthony Jones, Jr.; Austin Jones; Aries Jones; Brinlee Valentin; twins, Gavin and Penelope Valentin; Chris Henley; Michael Davis; Ariel Gribble; and Josh Gribble. Gwen also had 4 great-grandchildren that she loved dearly. Gwen was a king, loving woman who found comfort in her faith and had a legendary sense of humor. She loved to crochet, and knitted many stocking caps and scarves which will be forever cherished. She lived a life of love and laughter. She passed away October 10, 2020. Graveside funeral services for Gwendlyn were held Monday morning, October 19, 2020 at West Hill Cemetery in Sherman.
