 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas  Mildred L. Price 3 September 1918 - 13 March 2015 Robert W. Price 1 October 1910 - 12 March 1987   Services for Robert Wilson Price of 910 S. Lee, 76-year-old retired steel worker who died Thursday at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, Texas, were held Monday morning in Waldo Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tommy Stone of Grayson Bible Baptist Church officiated and burial was in West Hill Cemetery in Sherman, Texas. A resident of Sherman since 1975, Mr. Price was born in Center, Mississippi, a son of Robert Elam and Matilda Shields Price. He married Mildred Lee Foreman on October 24, 1936 in Belzonia. He was a steel worker for Central Industrial Engineering Co. in Santa Fe, California for 20 years before his retirement in 1975. A 32nd Degree Mason, he was a member of Meridian, Mississippi Lodge No. 577 and attended Grayson Bible Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife; sons, Robert E. Price of Bells, Texas; Dennis R. Price of Banning, California; and William Allen Price of Galveston; daughters, Mary Ann Croteau of Leulla and Renee Rutherford of Sherman; brother, Lester Price, of Collinsville; sister, Lessie Henderson, of Meridian; and 23 grandchiklren and 23 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Mark Long, Curtis Long, Jim McGlynn, Randy Price, Jesse Price and David Shirley. Mildred Price passed away peacefully on Friday, March 13, 2015 at the Homestead of Sherman at the age of 96. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, March 19, 2015 at Grayson Bible Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Ebert and Dr. Eddy Johnson officiating. Interment followed at West Hill Cemetery with Chuck Price, Douglas Rutherford, Ray Croteau, Mark Long, Curtis Long, and Ray Turriage serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Dave Shirley, Dan Gard, Matthew Lamar, Robert Lamar, Dylan Gard, Myles Price, Dennis Price, Jr., and Anthony Garcia. Mildred was born September 3, 1918 in Bolivar, Mississippi, daughter of William Matthew Foreman and Bertha Ann Neal Foreman. Mildred and her husband, Robert Wilson Price, moved from Covina, California in 1972 to live closer to her mother and sisters. She became a member of Grayson Bible Baptist Church and was a volunteer at the Share Ministries Food Pantry, distributing food to the needy families. In her earlier years, she and her husband enjoyed dancing and were members of the Sidewinders Square Dancing Club in Covina. She loved playing Bingo and search word puzzles. Mildred is survived by her son, Bob Price and wife, Pat, of Sherman; daughter, Ann Croteau, of Sherman; son, Churck Price and wife, Sonia, of League City, Texas; daughter, Renee Price Gann of Sherman; one sister, Joyce McLain, of Sherman; 22 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; and 41 great-great-grandchildren. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband; sons, Dennis Ray Price of Sherman; John Curtis Price and Douglas Price, both of Mississippi; sisters, Martha Hamner of Sherman; and Lura Mae Rodriguez of Pomona, California; grandson, Lloyd Price and granddaughter, Brenda Price, both of California.
