West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas Bruce Bert Richardson 22 September 1920 - 10 September 2006 Sergeant US Army WWII Purple Heart The Herald Democrat January 3, 2014 Sherman - Nell passed into the presence of her Lord and Saviour December 30, 2014 on her mother's birthday. It was a joyous reunion with her parents, William Kyle and Margaret Catherine Fowler McGill. She was reunited with her siblings: Genora Ruth Collins, Helen Jean Tucker, Marvin, Harold and Joseph McGill. Nell was widowed 3 times: James Russell Gurley, Martin Esquibell and Bruce Richardson have all awaited her arrival. Nell lived a long and loving life, born January 10, 1922. She had no children but adopted her nieces and nephews as her own. She loved family best, but thrived in knowing and helping people. She volunteered at Wilson N. Jones, Bonham V.A. Hospital, and the VFW after retirement. She enjoyed square dancing and was a member of Texoma Rounders. Nell worked at Hardwicke & Etter for many years. She moved on to be the first Meter Maid in the Sherman area. Next she worked as dispatcher for the Sherman Police Department. Nell lived in the Sherman area all her life and knew many people. Driving Ms. Nell about town was a history lesson of Sherman's Who's Who. She is survived by her brother, Dewey McGill, Sr. and wife, Mary; nieces, Donna Watson and Diana Taylor Catlin; Sandra Jefferson; Dorothy Tucker; nephews, Dewey McGill, Jr.; Jeffrey McGill; Kelly McGill; Richard Tucker. Greats include M. Shayne and Yolanda Pemberton; Lisa and O. Obeid; Meg Taylor; Melissa and TJ Cross; Kyle McGill; great-greats: the small ones she loved best: Stori, Grace, Lydia, Ryan, Zacky, Nora, Taylor, Jayce, Christopher, Jacob, Cody and Ellie. Her friend and caregiver, Paula Allen. A graveside service was held Saturday afternoon, January 3, 2015 at West Hill Cemetery.
