KILLED IN ST. LOUIS
Shermanite Loses Life In Terminal Yards There

A message was received here yesterday stating that O.H. Rice was killed in St. Louis August 20th.  The remains will arrive in Sherman this afternoon at 5:40 o'clock and the funeral announcement will be made later.
Mr. Rice was a citizen of Sherman and his family, a wife and little daughter, reside at the home, corner Brockett and Willow streets.  Mr. Rice went to St. Louis about 4 months ago to work out of there as a brakeman, transferring there on account of the slack of business at this place.  He formerly worked out of here.  No particularrs have yet been learned of his death, more than that he was killed in the terminal yards there.  He was a member of B. of R.T. lodge No. 659 and S.L. Talley, financier for the lodge was notified of his death.  On arrival the body will be taken in charge by Jno. C. Dannel, funeral director.

In shipment the remains of O.H. Rice, the Sherman railroad man who was killed Tuesday at St. Louis in the railroad yards, has been delayed.  The body is now expected to arrive here some time tonight.  On arrival it will be taken in charge by Jno. C. Dannel, funeral director.  If the remains get here tonight the funeral will probably be tomorrow afternoon from the residence, 900 E. Brockett street.

REMAINS REACH SHERMAN
Funeral of O.H. Rice Will Take Place Tomorrow Afternoon

This afternoon the remains of O.H. Rice, who was killed in the Frisco Yards on the T & P from Texarkanna where they were delayed during last night.  The burial will take place from the residence, 909 East Brockett street tomorrow afternoon.  Interment at West Hill Cemetery.
F.W. Crow and Miss Fannie Crow of Austin, who are half brother and sister of the deceased, Mr. and Mrs. M. Warren and E. Stalcup of Cleburne, who are relatives of Mrs. Rice; and Mrs. Rice's mother, Mrs. Crenshaw of Cresson, Texas, all arrived yesterday to attend the funeral.

Rev. B. Wrenn Webb conducted the funeral services for O.H. Rice yeseterday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the residence on East Brockett street.  Interment was at West Hill Cemetery.
