West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas The Denison Press Monday, August 9, 1937 pg. 1 MISS REYNOLDS DIES SATURDAY AT HOME HERE Miss Ida Reynolds, 64, resident of Denison for 4 years, died at her home Saturday at 5:45 p.m. at 1705 Woodlawn Boulevard. She had been ill for one year. Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Short-Murray chapel with Rev. Burton Coffman of the Walnut Street Church of Christ, Sherman, officiating. Interment will be in West Hill Cemetery, Sherman, with Short-Murray directing. Miss Reynolds was born in Ellingham, Illinois, March 7, 1872, her parents being Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Reynolds. She had followed the teaching professions for years and was a graduate of the Denton Teachers' college. She had taught in Grayson county for 28 years, part of which was at the Houston ward school. She went to San Antonio where she was connected with the agricultural extension work until illness forced her retirement. She had made her home with a sister, Mrs. Ethel Boren for some time, at which place she died. Besides Mrs. Boren, a brother survives, Ila Reynolds, of Luella.
