Reid 1889 - 1917 The Sherman Courier Sunday, December 16, 1917 pg. 1 MISS ETHEL REID DEAD Well Known Young Sherman Lady Died at Home Here Yesterday Morning, Funeral Today Miss Ethel Elizabeth Reid, 27 years old, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.D.A. Reid, died at the family home, 805 E. Jones street early yesterday morning after a long illness. Funeral services will be held at the Key Memorial Methodist church at 2 o'clock this afternoon, conducted by Rev. J.W. Slagle, the pastor. Interment will be in West Hill Cemetery. Miss Reid is survived by her parents and the following brothers and sisters: M.F. Reid; M.M. Reid; J.N. Reid; Mrs. Lula Moss; Mrs. Florence Garrett; Mrs. Bennie Durrett; and Miss Edna Reid. Miss Reid was a true Christian young woman, much loved by all who knew her, and her death will be mourned by a large circle of friends. The Courier extends its sincerest sympathy to the bereaved family in their hour of sorrow. Throughout her long illness all were most kind, and to us each beautiful floral offering and each song but spoke again of the loving hearts that had been with us and with her these 2 years.
