West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas Jackie Marie Marlow Abernathy Reppond, 66, was greeted at Heaven's Door by God our Father on April 24, 2013 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison. She was a warrior, fighting breast cancer for the last year and a half. She passed peacefully with her loving husband and daughters by her side. Her service was held Saturday afternoon, April 27, 2013 at Grayson Bible Baptist Church in Sherman with Bro. Roy Webster officiating. She was laid to rest immediately following the service at West Hill Cemetery in Sherman, Texas. Jackie was born on June 30, 1946, daughter of Lillie Mae and Gordon Marlow in Dallas, Texas where she lived throughout her childhood and teenage years. Jackie married T. Weldon Reppond on August 14, 1993 in Wilmer, Texas. She was preceded by 4 siblings, William Glen, Jim, Sue, and Kenneth Wayne; her parents. Throughout the many jobs she had through the years, the one she loved most was being a teacher's aide at Howe ISD. She loved being around children, and in return, was given much love by those children. She was an active member of the Baptist churches she joined during her life. There is nothing she loved more than the Lord. She was a bright light burning for God. Friend to many, Beloved by all. She is survived by her husband of Sherman; 2 loving daughters, Kathy and her husband, Charlie Jenkins, of Bells, Texas; and Karen and her husband, Scott McCoy, of Sherman; Texas; one brother, Jim, She had 4 treasured grandchildren, Dylan, Rebecca, Dalton and Brendan. She always said if she could have been a grandmother first, she would have. God's choir is full today, Jackie's voice soaring above the rest. She is made new and will never suffer again.
