West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas Denison - Mary Yoast Reddick died peacefully in her sleep on Friday, October 10, 2014. Memorial services were held at the gravaside in West Hill Cemetery, Sherman, Texas, on Thursday, October 23, 2014 with Dr. Karl Fickling and Rev. Keith Taylor officiating. May was born on Monday, November 13, 1933 in Sherman, Texas, daughter of Clarence Yoast and Ethel Barr Yoast. She married Don Reddick on May 16, 1953 in Sherman. She worked in retail as a cashier and was a member of Cottonwood Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of Denison; son, David Reddick of Denison; daughter, Elizaberth Reddick of New York, New York; sister, Patsy Clay of Denison; grandchildren, Trevor and Dylan Reddick of New Jersey; and several nieces and nephews. Donald Richard Reddick passed away peacefully on September 25, 2018 in Carrollton, Texas. Don was born May 29, 1934 in Sherman, Texas, son of George David and Lola Dee Reddick. He attended Des Voigne Grade School and Denison High School from September 1940 through May 1951, and graduated from Sherman High School in May 1952. He married the former Mary Elizabeth Yoast on May 16, 1953 and they remained married until she passed away in 2014. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving 2 years in active duty and 4 years in reserve from November 1956 to November 1962. He was a member of Cottonwood Baptist Church in Denison, Texas where he served as Deacon and Sunday School teacher. He was a member of the Plano Masonic Lodge No. 768 and Dallas Scottish Rite. Don had a 35 year long banking career, which began in 1953 at the Grayson County State Bank in Sherman and ended in 1986 at the Collin County State Bank in Melissa, Texas. He was President and Chairman of the Board of the bank until he retired after suffering an acute stroke. He is survived by 2 children, Elizabeth Ann Reddick of New York City, New York; and David Michael Reddick of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 2 grandsons, Trrevor Martin Reddick of Binghamton, New York and Dylan George Reddick of Teaneck, New Jersey; sister-in-law, Patsy Yoast Clay; and many nieces and nephews.
