 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas  Odell S. "Pat" Meredith 26 November 1916 - 12 August 2010 Mary L. "Louise" Meredith 9 October 1924 - 21 December 1998   Odell S. "Pat" Meredith of San Benito, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 12. 2010 at the age of 93. He was born in Davidson County, North Carolina on November 26, 1916. He moved to the Rio Grande Valley in 1954, after retirement from the Air Force. He was a graduate of St. Mary's University and served in the Army and Air Force from 1941 to 1962. In World War II, for outstanding service to his country, he was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Air Medal with three Oak Leaf Clusters, the Berlin Airlift Medal and six other campaign medals. He was a member of the CPA firm, Scoggins, McKelvey, Almon and Meadows from 1979 to 1990. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Mary Louise Meredith; and his second wife, Shirley Jean Meredith. He is survived by daughters, Patti Krejci and husband, Terry, of Houston, Texas; and Nancy Coburn and husband, Paul, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; son, Timothy Meredith and wife, Melissa, of Dallas, Texas; 5 grandchildren, Matthew Coburn, Andrew Coburn, Meredith Ermis, Molly Clack, and Callie Meredith; and one great-granddaughter, Delaney Ermis. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, August 17, 2010 at Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman, Texas. He was buried at West Hill Cemetery in Sherman, Texxas.
