West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas Bryan J. Mitchell, 40, of Denison passed away suddenly from a GI bleed/rupture Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at his home. Bryan was born January 9, 1974 in California, son of Maureen E. Mitchell, who preceded him in death. Bryan spent 16 years as a produce manager at a local grocery store where he was later disabled by way of epilepsy and the heartbreak of his mother's passing. Although he did not regularly attend church, Bryan was a Christian who believed in the love of Jesus and is finally no longer suffering. Bryan loved any and everyone he met. He would help a stranger before he would help himself. Even when he had nothing to give, he would help the homeless, hungry, and the cold find warmth. He opened his heart and home to all. Above all, Bryan yearned to have peace and on Wednesday he received his peace once and for all from his heavenly father, Jesus Christ. Bryan leaves behind his grandmother, Mary Turpin Mitchell, of Sherman; sister, Natalie Hulsey and husband, Jacob; nephew, Luke Hulsey and niece, Reagan Hulsey, all of Sherman, Texas; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends from all around. Memorial services were held Tuesday morning, November 25, 2014 at Fisher Funeral Chapel with Pastor John Matey of Joshua's Crossing officiating. Byran was laid to rest near his beloved mother during a private family interment in West Hill Cemetery.
