 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas  Mr. Shonda "Twinkie" Hagood ascended from this earth to eternity Saturday, August 20, 2019 in Sherman at the young age of 47, following an extended illness. His will was celebrated Saturday noon, August 17, 2019 in the Progressive Missionary Baptist Church in Sherman, Texas. Elder James Ezell officiated and Rev. Craig Davis was the Host Pastor. Burial followed in West Hill Cemetery in Sherman, Texas. Shonda "Twinkie" Hagood was born in Cayce, South Carolina on June 29, 1972, son of Jo Carolyn Smith Terry and Kenneth Casita, and also his stepfather, R.L. Terry, who preceded him in death. He attended Glad Tidings and Joanna Schools; he later graduated in Sherman, Texas. He worked at the Boys Club and Goodwill where he was truly loved. He was preceded in death by his stepfather; and grandfather, Cleavland Smith, Sr. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother; father; sister, Diameta (Keith); brother, Joaqulinn (Buffy); grandmothers, Joyce Smith and Olivia Casita; nephews, Roemello, T.R. Lane, Ladarren, Jervonta, Jadavian, and Javon; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Arrangements were entrusted to James E.
