 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas  The Herald Democrat October 13, 2014 Sherman - Memorial services for Mike Brown, 71, were held Thursday morning, October 15, 2014 at Waldo Funeral Home chapel with Deacon Albert Miller officiating. Interment of cremains followed at West Hill Cemetery. Mike was born October 13, 1942 in Quincy, Illinois, son of Gilbert and Dorothy Brown and passed from this life on Friday, October 10, 2014 in Sherman. Mike was raised in Quincy and had lived in Sherman the last 30 years. He was retired from Texas Instruments, working as a computer tech for many years. Mike loved playing golf, going to the lake, and being with family. Mike is survived by his wife, Oralia; sons, Kevin Brown and daughters, Heather and Stephanie; Chris Brown and wife, Heather, and daughter, Natalie; Patrick Garcia and wife, Logan, and children, Amelia and Bruce; step-son, Phillip Webster; step-daughters, Paula Armijo and husband, Gary; and Roberta Armijo and husband, Ralph; step-sons, Michael Armijo and wife, Eileen; and Marcus Armijo and wife, Divina; brother, Ron Brown and wife, Judy; sister, Judy Gronager; sister-in-law, Lydia Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews.
