 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas  Janet Johnson Brewer, 76, passed away October 20, 2017 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon, October 27, 2017 at Waldo Funeral Home. Randy Clark officiated. Burial followed in West Hill Cemetery. Janet was born June 1, 1941 in Frisco, Texas, daughter of John T. Johnson and Ruby Clark Johnson. Janet retired from SISD where she worked as a secretary for 21 years. She was a loving mother and adored her grandchildren. Her family will miss her chocolate pies and sweet tea. Janet is survived by her husband, Jerry T. Brewer, of Texas; son, Steve Brewer and wife, Joan, of Ardmore, Oklahoma; daughter, Dwana Brewer of Tulsa, Oklahoma; siblings, Peggy Raines of Plano, Texas; R.M. Johnson and wife, Beth, of Graham, Texas; Mary James and husband, Larry, of Denison, Texas; Philip Johnson and wife, Cathy, of Lipan, Texas; Nancy Norris and husband, Lin, of Prosper, Texas; and Donald Johnson and wife, Beckey, of Gunter, Texas; grandchildren, Stephanie Tilley and husband, Ryan, of Ardmore, Oklahoma; Jessica Brewer and fiance, Dustin Atnip, of Ardmore, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Johnny and James Johnson.
