West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas Sherman - Funeral services for Norman E. Jenson were held Friday morning, December 9, 2016 at Waldo Funeral Home. Burial with military honors followed at West Hill Cemetery with James Elk, Todd Estes, Jake Estes, Gregg Estes, Bob Nunn, and Bobby Hughes serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Collin Lankford, Caleb Lankford, Cameron Lankford, and Richard Nielsen. Mr. Jenson passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Wilson N. Jones Regional Medical Center. Norman was born February 5, 1920 in Hollandale, Minnesota, son of Christian and Anna Jenson. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II, stationed in the Phillipines and New Guinea. Norman married Blanche Waits Snow on May 9, 1969 in Sherman. He worked as a mechanic at Chase Chevrolet for over 30 years and enjoyed reading Louis L'Amour books, working in his yard, and spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Jenson is survived by his wife of Sherman; one daughter, Sharon Nielsen and husband, Richard, of Keller; 2 granddaughters, Michelle Hill and husband, Michael, of Howe; and Lori of Arlington; grandson, Jeffrey Jordan of Wisconsin; and 4 great-grandchildren, Collin, Caleb and Cameron Lankford, all of Howe; and Chelsea of Arlington.
