 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas Sherman Daily Democrat Thursday, January 5, 1911 pg. 6, 8 The body of Mrs. Lydia Beardslee [sic] Vernon, aged 60 years, who died yesterday at the home in Denison, arrived in Sherman this morning at 11 o'clock via the interurban and interment was had in West Hill Cemetery by the side of her parents in West Hill Cemetery. The remains were accompanied by friends and relatives from Denison. The funeral of Mrs. Lydia Vernon, who died at midnight Tuesday, was conducted this morning from the residence, No. 505 West Munson street by Rev. J.A. Johnson. pastor of the First M.E. Church. The remains were shipped to Sherman for interment in West Hill Cemetery.
