 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas  Elnora Luper Hughes was born August 8, 1938 in the Blue Creek community of Grayson County, daughter of O.V. Luper and Rosie Mask. She worked over 26 years with Burlington Industries and 20 years with Sherman ISD. Mrs. Hughes passed away at Wilson N. Jones Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, January 23, 2019. She is survived by her children, Brenda Chatman, Linda Akers and husband George, Martha Chaffin and husband, Gary, Donna Phea and husband, Elton, Gerald Hughes and wife, Karen, Marilyn Crawford and husband, Michael, Derrick Hughes and wife, Micha'el, and Tiera Hughes; sister, Tommie Cross and husand, David; brother, James Luper and wife, Sylvia; 14 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends. A Life Celebration was held at Harmony Missionary Baptist Church in Sherman on Saturday afternoon, January 26, 2019. Burial followed in West Hill Cemetery in Sherman.
