Milton Phea was born in Paris, Texas on April 23, 1945, daughter of
Aaron Milton, Sr. and Ethelean Christian Milton. She was educated at Bankhead School in Paris. Jerldine worked various jobs throughout her life but was most noted for her 20 plus years at the former Chefette Restaurant in Sherman. Jerldine moved to Ft. Worth, Texas where she resided for the past 20 years. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Saviour and was a member of the New Beginning Holiness Church in Ft. Worth. Jerldine died December 22, 2016. Jerldine is preceded in death by her parents; and son, Derrick Phea. She is survived by her children, Patricia Phea, Virginia Phea, May Phea, Ira Mae Johnson, Ruben Phea and Robert Phea; siblings, Shirley Ross, Frankie Smith, Joyce Smith, Flossie Collins, Johnnell Collins, Levell "Bo" Collins, and Charlie Jones; and many other friends and relatives.
