Thursday, March 24, 1932 pg. 5 Mrs. Carrie Ware, mother of Mrs. A.A. Adams, formerly of Whitewright, died Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Wilson N. Jones Hospital in Sherman, following several weeks illness. Mrs. Ware was well known to many Whitewright people, having visited here a number of times during the past several years. Since Mr. and Mrs. Adams moved to Sherman about a year ago, the deceased had made her home in that city. The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock from the home of her daughter, Mrs. A.A. Adams, 608 W. Birge street, Sherman. Services were conducted by Rev. C.C. Keller, pastor of St. Luke's Episcopal Church of Denison. She was born in Evansville, Indiana, August 6, 1861, coming to Sherman with her husband last September from Waco, where she had lived for 20 years. Mrs. Ware was a member of the Episcopal Church of Waco and for a number of years was a director for the Young Women's Christian Association there. During the world war she was active in the liberty loan drives. Surviving Mrs. Ware are her husband, Quent Ware; and one daughter, Mrs. Adams. Pallbearers were L.C. Abbott, R.C. Whiteacre, R.H.
