 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas  Gary Wayne Price 28 December 1966 - 3 November 2010  The Herald Democrat November 7, 2010 Palestine - Funeral services for Gary Wayne Price were held Tuesday morning, November 9, 2010 at Waldo Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Layman officiated with Gary's cousins and close friends serving as pallbearers Burial was in West Hill Cemetery in Sherman, Texas with lunch following at Dorchester Baptist Church. Mr. Price, 43, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at his home in Palestine. Gary was born December 28, 1966 in Arlington. He attended S&S Schools and graduated from Arlington Lamar High School in 1985. Following high school, Gary earned a degree in Business Administration from Texas A&M University, graduating in 1989. Gary worked several years as a motivational speaker for multiple companies and memory recall trainer for the Memory Institute. Later he worked as a sales manager for multiple companies in Dallas and Houston. As an avid outdoorsman, Gary enjoyed sky diving, bungee jumping, hunting and fishing and was a longtime member of the Texas A&M Former Students Association. Gary is survived by his mother, Dorothy McReynolds and husband, Charles, of Palestine, Texas; father, Kenneth Price and wife, Leza, Arlington; brother, Steven Price and wife, Lori, of Bonham; sister, Melissa Arend Richter and husband, Keye, of Florence, Wisconsin; step-grandmother, Annita McReynolds of Emerald Bay; and numerous aunts, untcles, nieces, and nephews. Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Johnny and Frances Martinek and Jack and Mozelle Price.   Ft. Worth - Funeral services for Kenneth Ray Price were held Thursday morning, August 27, 2020 at Waldo Funeral Home. Rev. Brian Taylor of Forest Avenue Baptist Church officiated. Private family committal services followed at West Hill Cemetery. Mr. Price, 73, passed away Monday, August 24, 2020 at Texas Health Harris Hospital in Ft. Worth. Kenneth Ray Price was born November 14, 1946 in Whitesboro, son of Fred and Bonnie Mozelle (Lea) Price. He graduated from S&S Schools in 1965 and from the University of Texas - Arlington in 1970 with a Bachelor's in Management. Mr. Price spent most of his career in the insurance business and was the owner of Ken Price insurance from 1975 to 1991. He later worked for Chase Bank in Arlington. Ken was published in several magazines, writing articles about the computerization of the insurance business. He was also active in Kiwanis Club, founding a chapter in Arlington and later serving at the Lt. Governor in that District. Mr. Price enjoyed gardening and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Price is survived by one son, Steven Price and wife, Lori, of Bonham; 2 grandchildren, Derek Price and Jessica Price of Bonham; sister, Betty Richardson of Austin; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Gary Price; and brother, Fred Price.
