West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas Dana Ray McDonald 14 November 1903 - 16 January 1995 Homa Inez McDonald 3 September 1910 - 6 September 1990 wed 15 August 1926 Ronald Wayne McDonald 10 August 1938 - 12 December 1995 Wilma Joyce McDonald 21 February 1939 - 26 December 2020 Sherman - Graveside funeral services for Wilma Joyce McDonald were held Wednesday afternoon, December 30, 2020 at West Hill Cemetery. Mrs. McDonald passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020 at the Homestead of Sherman. Joyce was born February 21, 1939 in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, daughter of E.J. and Irene Poole Senn. In 1957 she married her high school sweetheart, Ronald W. McDonald. They were married until his death in 1995. Joyce retired from Zales Jewelers where she worked as an office manager and was a member of Calvary Baptist Chruch. She enjoyed singing hymns, working crossword puzzles, loved to read and was a wonderful cook. Mrs. McDonald held the distinction of being the longest resident of the Homestead of Sherman, having lived there since 2008. Mrs. McDonald will be remembered for her sweet, kind disposition. She is survived by 3 daughters, Sherry Davis and husband, Bill, of Clarksville, Tennessee; Rhonda Riggs of Sherman; and Pamela Brockett of Summerville, South Carolina; 5 grandchildren: Charla Spies of Nashville, Tennessee; James Spies and wife, Cynthia, of Anchorage, Alaska; Ross Riggs and wife, Emily, of Anna; Cari Riggs Tai, and husband, Paul, of Sherman; and Cash McDonald and wife, Michelle, of Summerville, South Carolina; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Betty Garton of New Boston and Patsy Nelson of Sherman; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
