 Sandra "Sandy" LaFoy was born Wednesday, August 7, 1946 in Sherman, Texas, daughter of Charles M. LaFoy and Lucy Haynie LaFoy and passed from this life on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 in her home at the age of 69. Sandy was a graduate of the Sherman High School Class of 1964. She worked as an assistant at Safeway for many years and was last employed as a pharmacy tech at TMC. Sandy was as honest as the day is long and worked hard during her life. She always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. My sister was my best friend and I loved her dearly. Sandy was a member of East Sherman Baptist Church. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves behind her sister, Martha LaFoy of Sherman; lifelong friends, LaVada Rice and David Wright; and many cousins. Funeral services for Sandy were held Saturday afternoon, April 30, 2016 at Waldo Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rob Shepherd officiating. She was laid to rest in West Hill Cemetery in Sherman.
