Cherry, Sherman, died at 6:35 a.m. Thursday, November 11, 1976 after suffering a heart attack Wednesday. Services were held Saturday afternoon at Mullican-Little Funeral chapel in Bells officiating. Burial was in West Hill Cemetery in Sherman. Born February 1, 1929 in Bells, son of I.E. Brown and Mrs. Mae Brown, he married the former Miss Wanell Moran February 7, 1947. He served in the Army during the Korean War. Mr. Brown owned and operated Brown's Watch Repair Shop in Sherman. He was a member of Crutchfield Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. He had lived in Sherman for the past 25 years. Survivors are his wife of Sherman; his mother, Mrs. Mae Brown of Bells; one son, Michael Brown of Sherman; one brother, Harold Ray Brown of Dallas.
