Thursday, August 23, 1973 pg. 5 SERVICES TUESDAY FOR ROLLIN BRUTON Services were held Tuesday at Waldo Funeral Chapel for Rollin R. Bruton, 58, of 407 W. Dulin, employe of Burlington Industries, Inc. Mr. Bruton died at 2 a.m. Sunday in a Sherman hospital. Services were conducted by Rev. Joe Howard of Forest Avenue Baptist Church and Rev. C.J. Graves, Methodist minister of Sherman. Burial was at West Hill Cemetery. Mr. Bruton was born November 2, 1914 at Bow, Kentucky, son of Samuel E. and Ruth Bruton. He was married to Mary R. Stringer on August 31, 1940 at Gainesville. He was a starch blender at Burlington Industries for more than 20 years. He was a member of the Baptist church. Survivors are his widow; son, J.H. Stringer of West Covina, California; daughter, Mrs. R.B. Welch of San Antonio; brothers, Ralph Bruton and Nel Bruton, both of Sherman; and Dennis Bruton of Seymour; sisters, Mrs. Essie Gunn of Howe; Mrs. Jessie Von Quintus; and Miss Lela Bruton, both of Sherman; and 5 grandchildren.
