December 14, 1976 Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Waldo Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Lela Ann Wright, 45, of Del Valle, Tex., a former Sherman resident, she died at a San Antonio hospital Sunday. Services will be conducted by Rev. Dick Senter of the Allen First Baptist Church, with burial at West Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Wright was born at Wilberton, Okla., daughter of the late William A. Allen and the present Mrs. Lula C. Allen. She married John Wright on July 3, 1954 in Sherman and had been employed by Burlington Industries. She was a member of the Baptist church. Survivors are her husband; son, Al Wright of Austin; daughter, Mrs. Fran Haircloth of Las Vegas; her mother of Sherman; brothers, Bill Allen of Wilberton, Okla., T. L. Allen of Pottsboro, dean Allen of Dorchester and Jim Allen of Sherman; sisters, Mrs. Billy Joe Cook of Sherman and Mrs. Bob Overby of Allen; and one grandson. The family will be at the Lula Allen residence, 1300 S. Rusk. Pallbearers will be Larry Harless, H.F.Huntsman, H.H.Huntsman, Jimmy Huntsman, Homer Allison and Ector Mayberry.
