April 14, 1990 p-A18 GUNTER - Services for Kenneth Marlow Scoggins, 70-year-old rancher and farmer of Gunter who died Saturday in Wilson N. Jones Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the First Baptist Church. Rev. Scott Jordon will officiate, and burial will be in West Hill Cemetery in Sherman. Arrangements are under the direction of Flesher Funeral Home. Mr. Scoggins was born in Tioga, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Scoggins, and married Bennie Henderson on April 11, 1941 in Tioga. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and was an Army World War II veteran. Surviving are his wife; daughters, Diana Ferguson and Marilyn Davis, both of Gunter; son, Jerry Scoggins of Houston; sisters, June Baker and Gladys Rowan, both of Fort Worth, Margaret Haworth of Orange and Beryl Gunter of Lodi, Calif.; brother, Taylor Scoggins of Southmayd; and four grandchildren. The family will be at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m. tonight and other times at Diana Ferguston residence in Gunter.
