for Mrs. Estelle Binion Yowell, 80-year-old Sherman homemaker, will be
held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Travis Street Church of Christ. She
died Tuesday at her home. Woody Woodrow, Church of Christ Bible Chair Director of Stillwater, Okla. and Joe Edd Furr of the church will officiate. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery. Waldo Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. Mrs. Yowell was born in Pilot Grove, a daughter of Claude Binion and Neva Melton Binion. She graduated from Whitewright High School in 1930. On Oct. 8, 1937, she married Guy Yowell in Sherman. She moved to Sherman in 1937 and was a member of the Travis Street Church of Christ. Pallbearers will be Griver Biggerstaff, Paul Carter, Hillard Walker, Roger Turner, Dick Freeman, Frank Brown, Dana Blocker and Chuck O'Dell. Surviving are her husband; sons, Larry Yowell of Crosbyton and Kenneth Yowell of Friendswood; and seven grandchildren. The family will be at the funeral home from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today, and other times at the family residence. Memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, P.O. Box 870384, Dallas, 75287-0384, or the Travis Street Church of Christ Building Fund.
