Joyce Workman 6 August 1931 - 16 October 2014 Funeral services for Bobbie Joyce Claxton were held Friday afternoon, October 24, 2014 at Waldo Funeral Home. W.R. Workman officiated. Burial followed at West Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Claxton, 83, passed away Thursday,
October 16 at Texas Health Presbyterian-WNJ Medical Center. Joyce was born August 6, 1931 in Telephone, Texas, daughter of John and Evie Medlen Odum. Joyce attended Gober schools and worked as a beautician for several years at Trend Makers Beauty Shop. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Mrs. Claxton is survived by her husband, Wayne, of Bonham; 3 sons, Rocky Lee Workman and wife, Chau, of Rowlett; Randy Carlton Workman and wife, Beckie, of Bells; and Terry Dave Workman and wife, Patty, of Sequin; step-son, Gary Claxton and wife, Suzan, of Carthage; 2 step-daughters, Janet Claxton of Mulberry and Jane Hall and husband, Keith, of Mulberry; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 2 sister, Evie Lois McLemore and husband, Harrell, of Ft. Worth. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ernest Workman; brothers, Gerald Odum and Ralph Odum - - - Waldo Funeral Home   Memorial services for Terry Dave Workman were held September 12, 2015 at the Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman, Texas. Terry passed away September 3, 2015 peacefully in his home in Seguin, Texas. Terry was born December 13, 1955 in Lubbock, Texas, son of Ernest and Joyce Workman. Terry proudly served in the U.S. Navy right out of high school. He worked for Teague Construction for a number of years and then worked as a General Superintendent with TLT Construction from May 1879 until his passing. He loved RV-ing and hiking but his true passion was his family. Terry is survived by his wife, Patty; sons, Michael Workman and wife, River; and John Workman; daughters, Stacie Thomas and husband, Shane; Shelley Plumlee and husband, John; and Mandy Workman; brothers: Rocky Workman and wife, Chau; and Randy Workman and wife, Beckie; 8 grandchildren: Taylor, Cannon and William Thomas; Amanda Bagwell and husband, Josh; Shelby Graham and fiance, Clay; Jordyn and Jack Plumlee; and Nadia Allami. He is preceded in death by his parents.
