 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas  In Tacoma, Washington on April 15, 1956, Samuel and Sharon Hume, Sr. welcomed the arrival of a beautiful baby girl. They named her Jackie Rae. At the age of 4, the Hume family moved to Sherman, Texas where Jackie was raised and received the majority of her education. In 1992 she moved to Ft. Meade, Maryland and graduated from Meade High School in 1994. Shortly after high school, Jackie returned to Texas and moved to Dallas where she worked for Bank of America. Later in 1998 she married Clifton Thomas and the two began a wonderful life together in McKinney, Texas. After leaving the banking business, Jackie went to work for the Internal Revenue Service where she recently retired after 15 years of service. Jackie had a passion for working and mentoring children especially at her church where she was a dedicated member and servant of God. On December 2, 2018 Jackie was called to Eternal Life from Baylor, Scott & White Medical Center in McKinney. She is survived by her husband, Clifton D. Thomas; son Caleb Thomas, both of McKinney; father, Samuel J. Hume, Jr. and wife, Barbara, of Baltimore, Maryland; mother, Sharon D.
