Stratton 1885 - 1907 The Savoy Star Friday, January 3, 1907 pg.2 Sherman Citizen Drops dead Sherman: Dan Stratton, one of the most prominent citizens of Sherman dropped dead at his home here Sunday night. He had started to retire and fell over dead. Mr. Stratton had a remarkable business record, having served the Wells-Fargo Express Company as an agent for 26 years and the Waters-Pierce Oil Company for the same length of time in the same capacity.
