Crawford 7 September 1939 - 19 October 2006  Sherman - Graveside funeral services for Donald Dwayne Crawford were held Saturday morning, January 13, 2018 at West Hill Cemetery. Rev. Steve Rice officiated the services under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers were Benjamin Rice, Timothy Rice, Bryan Zimmerman, and Matthew Brown. Mr. Crawford , 79, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Texoma Medical Center. Don was born September 11, 1938 in Wellington, Texas, son of Johnny Ingram Crawford and Nell Sims Crawford. Mr. Crawford is survived by 4 children - Belinda Zimmerman of Fate, Texas; Deborah Rice and husband, Steve, of Sherman; Don Crawford, Jr. of Sherman; and Beverly Brown of Denison; one sister, Jannine Alexander of Corpus Christi, Texas; 9 grandchildren - Amber Holrath, Bryan Zimmerman; Megan Myers and husband, Chad; Benjamine Rice and wife, Kacy; Timothy Rice and wife, Haleigh; Stephanie Rice; Melodee Rice; Katherine Rice; and Matthew Brown; and 8 great-grandchildren - Amon Holrath, Thomas Holrath, Jayce Myers, Maddox Rice, Veda Jay Rice, Sophia Rice, Gabriel Rice, and one on the way.
