 Ronald Nicholson 1937 - 2013  Ronald Nicholson, 75, passed away at The Beacon Hill Nursing Facility in Denison on February 10, 2013. A memorial service was held at Dannel Funeral Home on Thursday, February 14, 2013 with Pastor Leland Samuelson officiating. Interment was at West Hill Cemetery. Ronald was born September 30, 1937 in Magazine, Arkansas to Thomas E. Nicholson and Ima Lee Moon. He moved from Roland, Oklahoma about 20 years ago, making his home in Denison, Texas. Ronald was a member of the First Baptist Church at Ft. Smith, Arkansas until his move to Denison; however, he continued to correspond by mail back and forth to them, thus keeping his membership. He was an avid music lover, enjoyed playing the guitar and loved to watch sports, especially the Cowboy football team and Texas Ranger baseball team. Ronald was preceded in death by both parents; step-father, Robert B. Ness; twin brother, Raymond Nicholson; and brother, Don Nicholson; sisters, Nadine Carmikle and Maxine White. He is survived by his step-brother, Robert Lee Ness, of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; sisters-in-law, Maria J. Nicholson, Anne Nicholson; many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews.
