 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas Celebration
of Life for Mrs. Belinda A. Jones-Pratt, 44, of Sherman was held at
Harmony Missionary Baptist Church Saturday afternoon. Mrs.
Jones-Pratt died Monday, June 19, 2017 at Texoma Medical Center. Belinda, affectionally known as "Linda", was born October 3, 1972, daughter of Leo Jones, Jr. and Glenda Jackson. She was educated in the Sherman public schools and graduated from Sherman High School in 1991. After graduation Linda attended Wiley College in Marshall, Texas where she was a member of the Acapella Traveling Choir. In 1997 she married Mr. Leroy Pratt of Dallas and the two were blessed to parent four children. Linda also attended Grayson County College where she received her Cosmetology License. She worked as a beautician for over 16 years and had recently received her Cosmetology Instructor license. She enjoyed window shopping with her daughters and cross-word puzzles. She was preceded in death by her sister, Gwendolyn Yvette Jones; and nephew, Dreshaun J. Jones. She is survived by her husband, Anson (LeRoy) Pratt; daughters, Dejah Pratt, Asia Pratt, Lataesia Pratt and Alaysia Pratt; grandson, Levi Bailey; father, Leo (Regina) Jones, Sr.; mother, Glenda (Robert) Hunter; siblings, Gloria Johnson (Lionell); Leo Jones, Jr. (Tiffany) and Dorothy Jones.
