  Larry Dean Stevens passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison. Larry was born on May 14, 1951 in Sherman, Texas, son of J.C. and Nina Dudley Stevens. He served his country proudly in the US Army. Larry never met a stranger. He loved life, playing golf, hunting, singing karaoke, and delivering meals to people in need through Meals on Wheels. Larry was a loving husband, father, pops, brother and friend. Mr. Stevens is survived by his family - wife, Gale Stevens of Denison; son, Chad Stevens and wife, Natalie, and their son, Jack, of Celina, Texas; daughter, Carly Delzell and husband, Chris, and their children, Colson, Cincade, and Channing; stepson, Justin Isom and his son, JaDarus, of Sherman; sisters, Dianne Roberts of Sherman; Donna James of Pottsboro; and Connie McViegh of Arlington. Funeral services were held Saturday morning, November 17, 2018 at Waples Memorial United Methodist Church with Pastor Cheryl Murphy officiating. In lieu of flowers memoials may be made in his name to Meals on Wheels, 4114 Airport Dr. Denison, Texas 75020. Arrangements were under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home in Denison. - - - Fisher Funeral Home.
