 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas  Cathy Gurley Milligan 30 May 1953 - 6 January 2008 Cathy Gail Gurley Milligan, 54-year-old Sherman homemaker, passed away at her residence on Sunday, January 6, 2008. Service were at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at the Trinity Baptist Church. Rev. Paul Ryan of Trinity Baptist Church officiated and burial followed at West Hill Cemetery, Sherman. Arrangements were under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home. Cathy was born May 30, 1953 in Sherman, the daughter of Joe Wesley Gurley and Katherine Inez Bernard Gurley. She was a graduate of Sherman High School in 1971 and married to Charles Anderson for 9 years and later was married to Robert Milligan for 19 years. She had worked at various child care centers before her health began to fail about 5 years ago. Cathy loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed caring for the children in day care centers. She also enjoyed cooking, watching movies, reading and especially spending time playing with her grandchildren. She is survived by four sons, Chad Anderson and wife, Laura, of Commerce, Texas; Jason Anderson and wife, Amanda; Josh Anderson and wife, Michelle; and Andy Anderson, all of Sherman; daughter, Samantha Milligan of Sherman; father, Joe Wesley Gurley of Sherman; brothers, Joe D. Gurley and wife, Betty, of Gordonville; and Billy Gurley and wife, Natalie, of Bradley, Arkansas; sister, Joelle' Fralloni of France; six grandchildren, Chris Anderson, Sarah Anderson, Jake Anderson, Austin Anderson, Luke Anderson, and Lydia Anderson. She was preceded in death by her mother in December of 1999.
