 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas The Oklahoman July 27, 1955 pg.44 Sherman, Texas - Funeral was Tuesday for Elliott Vernon Dial, 61, Walters, Oklahoma, oil driller, who died Saturday evening after a heart attack in Walters. Dial was a native of Tyro, Kansas. He came to Texas as a child and attended Sherman public schools. For eight years he had resided in Walters. He is survived by three sisters, Miss Pearl Dial, Sherman; Mrs. J.V. Kincaid, Arlington; and Mrs. T.S. Gray, Dodd City; and two brothers, Paul E. and J. Kenneth, both of Ft. Worth.
