 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas  Donna Carolyn Macon 20 October 1946 - 18 January 1994 Greenville Herald Banner Thursday, January 19, 1994 pg. 2A SHERMAN - Services for Greenville native Mrs. Donna Carolyn Macon, 47, of Sherman were at 2 p.m. Thursday in the First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Michael Jackson and Rev. Wally Williams officiating. Burial was in West Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Macon died Tuesday in Wilson N. Jones Hospital. She was born in Greenville to Carl Franklin and Rubye Mae Sumrow Green. She married Larry B. Macon on June 6, 1970 in Wolfe City. She graduated from East Texas State University with a B.S. and M.Ed degrees and had been a teacher at Crutchfield Elementary School for 27 years. She was a member of the Texas Classroom Teachers Association and First United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband of Sherman; two sons, Michael Trent Macon and Ryan Matthew Macon; a daughter, Holly Nicole Macon, all of Sherman; her parents of Wolfe City. Pallbearers were Bob Fleming, Jim Ricketts, Jim Carroll, David Parker, Gene Phipps, and Sam Wilson. Memorial may be made to the American Cancer Society.
