Sherman Daily Democrat Monday, October 7, 1912 pg. 1 SUDDEN DEATH Dr. W.N. Fisher Passes Away at Bagwell Today Dr. W.N. Fisher, aged about 48 years, died suddenly this morning at Bagwell, near Clarksville. Heart failure is reported to be the cause of death which occurred about 10 o'clock. The remains will be shipped here in the morning, but the funeral arrangements have not been definitely announced. Haynes & Sporer, funeral directors, will take charge of the body and it will be interred at West Hill Cemetery. Elder R.D. Smith will conduct the services here. Dr. Fisher formerly resided at Gunter and was in the city often. He has been at Bagwell about 2 years. His death was unexpected. The deceased is survived by the wife and a daughter, Mrs. J.L. Reece of Bagwell. Dr. S.D. Donoho of this city is a brother of Mrs. Fisher. Sherman Daily Democrat Tuesday, October 8, 1912 pg. 4 FUNERAL THIS AFTERNOON Remains of Dr. W.N. Fisher Interred at West Hill The remains of Dr. W.N. Fisher, who died suddenly of heart failure yesterday at Bagwell, arrived here this morning at 10:50 o'clock on the T. & P. passenger. They were taken in charge by Haynes & Sporer, funeral directors, and this afternoon at 1 o'clock the funeral service was held at the Haynes & Sporer funeral parlors on the west side of the square. Rev. R.D. Smith conducted the services. Burial was at West Hill cemetery. A large number of friends accompanied Mrs. Fisher and daughter, Mrs. J.L. Reece, here this morning. Mrs. Fisher is a sister of Dr. S.D. Donoho of this city. L.T. Donoho of near Tioga and Chas. Donoho of Durant, Oklahoma, all of whom are with their families. Sherman Daily Democrat Friday, October 6, 1922 pg. 3 Dr. D.S. Donoho of this city is in receipt of a message announcing the death of his sister, Mrs. Alice Fisher, which occurred at her home in Bagwell, Texas, Thursday evening. The body will be shipped to Sherman for interment, arriving at 3:25 Saturday afternoon and will be carried direct to West Hill where services will be conducted by Rev. L.S. White of the Walnut Street Church of Christ. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Jaine Reese of Bagwell; one sister, Mrs. Ira Duke of Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee and two brothers, Dr. S.D. Donoho of Sherman and I.K. Donoho of Gunter. Burial will be by the side of her late husband, Dr. William Fisher, who is buried in West Hill Cemetery.
