 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas  Retha Gayle Lemley 9 November 1951 - 17 January 2015  Retha Gayle Lemley, 63, of Sherman passed away Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Wilson N. Jones Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were scheduled for Wednesday afternoon, January 21, 2015 in the Hopkins Chapel at First United Methodist Church in Sherman. Rev. Chris Dowd officiated. Interment followed in West Hill Cemetery immediately after the service. Retha was born November 9, 1951 in Borger, Texas, daughter of Rev. Smith Pope and Laverne Dukes Pope. Retha enjoyed her job of a homemaker as her kids were her whole world. Retha's father had his own church, Fairlane Church of Christ and it was there that she found her love for the Lord. This carried through her whole life as one of her favorite past times was reading and studying her Bible. She also enjoyed sewing and writing. Her children and grandchildren were her life and her greatest joy was spending time with them. Preceded in death by her parents, she is survived by her son, Nathan Wynn and wife, Callie, of Sherman; daughter, Angie Irwinsky and husband, Joe, of Blum, Texas; brother, Lee Pope and wife, Janice, of Dallas; grandchildren, Shae Cearley and husband, Brent; Lacey Irwinsky; Caleb Irwinsky; Barrett Wynn; Brady Wynn; and WIllian Wynn; great-grandchild, Hagan Cearley; and former husband, Don Lemley, of Cedar Hill.
