Denison Daily News Thursday, March 12, 1874 pg. 2 SHERMAN ON DITS Florence, the infant daughter of Mrs. Maggie Fitch, died Monday evening and was buried Tuesday at three o'clock. She had been sick nearly three months. Denison Daily News Wednesday, August 13, 1873 pg. 2 Mr. Wm. D. Fitch is dead. Mr. Fitch was one of the oldest and most respected citizens of Sherman. He has been confined to his bed for the last six months, with that dread disease, consumption, expecting death at any moment.
