 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas   Keith Keylon Jones 16 September 1930 - 3 September 2010 PFC US Army Korea  The Herald Democrat September 5, 2010 Sherman - Funeral services for Keith K. Jones were held Tuesday, September 7, 2010 in the Veteran's section of West Hill Cemetery with Bill Lee officiating with military honors provided by the US Army. Services under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home. Mr. Jones passed away September 3, 2010 at the age of 79. Keith Keylon Jones, son of John Wesley Jones II and Margaret Carmen Keylon, was born September 16, 1930 in Farmers Valley. He attended school in Chillicothe and served in the U.S. Army from 1951 - 1954 in Germany as a military police officer. He married Penelope "Penny" Hopkins August 31, 1957. Mr. Jones worked for the Vernon Cotton Mill, General Vegetable Oil Company, Hitchcock Industries, Fisher Control of McKinney and ARA of Austin College. Mr. Jones is survived by his wife of 53 years; three children, John Wesley Jones III of Sherman, Donna Bonine and husband Marty of Denison, and Cynthia McMillin and husband Gary of Bells; two adopted daughters, Pat Slade and Cathy White; nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and two sisters, Sybil Bailey of Vernon and Jonny Johnson of San Angelo. He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Frances Hamilton and Helen Sims; and one brother, Donald Jones.
