Thursday, July 24, 1924 pg. 5 C.W. Hampton and J.H. Graves went to Sherman Tuesday afternoon to attend the funeral of Rufus Harold Womack, who died in Alpine Saturday. The deceased was 26 years old. He was the son of R.S. Womack of Sherman, well known good roads contractor. Funeral services were conducted by Dr. Walter J. Johnson, pastor of the Travis Street Methodist Church.
