PROMINENT CITIZEN BURIED IN WEST HILL CEMETERY
The burial of James P. Harrison was conducted at West Hill Cemetery this afternoon, following services conducted at the family residence, 419 North Travis street, by Revs. J.M. Binkley and J. Lem Keevil.  Burial was under the auspices of Sherman Lodge 667, B.P.O. Elks, of which the deceased was a member.  Members of the Knights of Pythias, Woodmen of the World, and Knights of Honor individually participated in showing respect to their dead brother.
Relatives from out of town in attendance were Mr. and Mrs. Ed L. Pittman and James Pittman of Dallas; W.W. and P.T.  Andrews of Dallas; Mr. and Mrs. W.R. Fields of Howe and N.G. Harrison of Abilene.
Prominent members of Texas Grain Dealers' Association, of which the deceased was for several years president and since its organization an active member, were present as follows: State Secretary H.B. Dorsey of Fort Worth; L.G. Ballew of Pilot Point; and J.T. Stark of Plano.
Mrs. Harrison and family are in receipt of a great many messages of condolence and sympathy from points in and out of Texas.
The pallbearers were relatives: J.H. Ramsey, Ed L. Pittman, James Pittman, W.W. Andrews, P.T. Andrews, and W.R. Fields.
The floral testimonials of respect were beautiful.  Those from the orders of which he was a member were appropriately emblematic.
