 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas Sherman Democrat June 27, 1950 DORCHESTER - Funeral services for Ira Thes Wright, 44, resident of Dorchester for 17 years, will be held Wednesday, June 28 at 2:30 p.m. He died at Dorchester at 3:30 p.m. Monday. Rev. Mayo Cleveland, pastor of the Dorchester Baptist Church, will conduct the services at the John C. Dannel chapel. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery. Mr. Wright was born Sept. 1, 1905 at Greenville, Texas, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Wright. He was married to Minnie Ruth Trammell of Tioga on Dec. 24, 1931. Mr. Wright was employed by the Frisco railroad. He was a member of Burk Baptist Church. Pallbearers are [sic Survivors]: His wife; two sons, Glendon D. Wright and R. L. Wright, both of Dorchester; one daughter, Glenda Wright of Dorchester; four brothers, Shelton Wright of Weatherford, Lonnie Wright of Dallas, Glen Wright of Celina, Troy Wright of Southmayd; and three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Murphy of Corona, Calif., Mrs. Faye Wilson of Celina and Mrs. Jimmie Hamilton of Pilot Point.
