 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas  Wm. LeRoy Yancy 1891 - 1894 Sherman Daily Democrat May 18, 1938 Page 9 The body of Mrs. B. F. Yancy, 68-year-old former resident of Sherman who died at Los Angeles Sunday night, will arrive Thursday at 6:10 p.m. over the Texas and Pacific railway and interment will follow at West Hill cemetery, conducted by the Rev. H. G. Ryan and directed by Dannel-Scott. Mrs. Yancey had lived in California for several years, removing from Sherman in 1909. Mr. Yancy died several years ago. Her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. M. Davis, are buried here. She was a sister to W. D. Davis, former mayor of Fort Worth.
