James Etter Scruggs Arrangements By: Angelic Mortuary Dec 18, 2003 Sherman, Texas -- Services for James Etter Scruggs, age 73, of Sherman, were scheduled for Saturday afternoon at Harmony Baptist Church in Sherman. Rev. Roderick Shepard officiated and interment followed at West Hill Cemetery. Angelic Mortuary was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Scruggs passed away died Saturday, December 13, 2003, at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman. James Etter Scruggs is survived by his sons, James Lee Scruggs of Marburg, Germany; and Ted William Scruggs of Sherman; daughters, Mattie Scruggs, Ann Scruggs and Flora Scruggs, all of Sherman; brother, Johnny Stone of Sherman; sister, Mattie Copper of Sherman; six grandchildren; plus two great-grandchildren.
