T. "Fannie" Scott, 86, of Sherman passed away on Sunday, Aug. 7, 2011,
at Texoma Medical Center. Arrangements are under the direction of
Dannel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 10,
at 1 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Craig Sturm
officiating. The family will be at the church at 12:30 p.m. Fannie was born in Sherman on Dec. 19, 1924, to Jess M. and LaRue (Ransom) Totten. She was educated in the public schools of Sherman, graduating from Sherman High School. She went on to Randolph Macon College. She married Richard G. Scott III on Aug. 4, 1998, in Austin, TX. Fannie was a housewife. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Fannie was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, a son, Richard H. Scott of Austin; two daughters: Jane Guarino and husband Ralph of Carrollton and Suzanne Kneale and husband Jim of Tulsa, OK; a brother, Jess Totten of San Antonio; numerous nephews and a niece. Memorials may be made to the Frances Scott Memorial Fund at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1515 N. Travis St., Sherman, 75092.
